A grand audio release function of 2.0, starring Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, is happening on Friday at Dubai’s Burj Park. The mega-budget film has been hit by piracy already. The songs have been leaked online hours before their official release on the music streaming platforms.

The two leaked songs are “Endhira Logathu”, sung by Sid Sriram and Shashaa Tirupati and “Raajali Nee Gaali”, sung by Blaaze, Arjun Chandy and Sid Sriram. 2.0 music composer AR Rahman has said that the film has three songs, of which only two songs will be released at the music launch event in Dubai. The remaining song will be released at a later date.

Two songs each from Tamil, Telugu and Hindi versions of the film will be released today. Rahman will also be live performing his compositions for the film at the grand audio launch event, which was being done on a never seen before scale.

Rahman had also composed songs for the first part for the sci-fi franchise, Enthiran. The music album of the 2010 film was a smash hit with the audience worldwide. So the expectations from 2.0 album are really high.

2.0 is being made three times the budget of Enthiran. Director Shankar has promised to deliver a one-of-its-kind cinematic experience on the Indian celluloid with this film. Usually, the films are shot with 2D cameras and later get converted into the 3D format. But the filmmakers of 2.0 have directly shot it using high-tech 3D cameras to create more depth on the big screen.

Shankar said post the release of 2.0, the audience will like to watch more 3D films in India.
