In a statement, the embassy also expressed concern about the victims and said that it will continue to provide all possible support to them and their families.
It also expressed trust that the Indian law enforcement agencies and the judicial system will deliver justice.
The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday said they were in touch with the Swiss Embassy and would quickly redress the issue.
Uttar Pradesh Police on Thursday arrested five accused, including three minors, in connection with the case.
The Swiss couple, hailing from Lausanne in Switzerland, was allegedly brutally thrashed by a group of youths in Agra's Fatehpur Sikri on Sunday. The duo was reportedly seriously injured in the attack and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Delhi.
