Hyderabad: SHE team turns three

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad police commissioner M Mahendar Reddy on Thursday said SHE Teams have been able to ensure 100 per cent conviction rate till now. Speaking at the third anniversary of the special wing, he said the achivement is a result of unremitting focus on collecting solid evidence before making any move.

At the event, Home minister Nayini Narsimha Reddy said the initiative has given good results.
Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime, Swati Lakra said SHE teams activities have helped in reducing offences against women by around 20 per cent. With the Hyderabad SHE teams giving good results, the initiative has been extended to all districts and commissionerates of TS.
