NOIDA: The three development authorities in GB Nagar — Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway—have appointed a nodal officer each to coordinate with Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) to assist in carrying out an audit of each Authority. In a letter from the state government, the authorities have been asked to provide data on 14 points from 2012-13 to date, by early next week.

The move comes after the UP government in July this year gave permission to CAG to carry out audit of the three development authorities. The audit teams are expected to launch a detailed probe into the income and expenditure of the authorities sometime in November, officials said.

According to the letter, the details have to be emailed to the state's industrial department in Lucknow. The authorities have been asked to provide details related with the organisational structure of each authority, details of personnel deployed, budget documents, copy of annual accounts and financial statements, along with auditors' reports. The other details which need to be provided to the government for the CAG audit include audit reports of Local Fund Audit for the said period, compliance reports and action on the audit reports of statutory auditors and director Local Fund Audit by the authorities.
