Mumbai, October 26:
The rupee gained further ground against the US dollar, appreciating by seven paise to end at an over one-week high of 64.82 on sustained selling of the American currency by banks and exporters. Robust capital inflows against the backdrop of recent policy measures adopted by the government to capitalise public sector banks predominantly kept forex market sentiment highly buoyant.
