VVIT conducts faculty development programme

GUNTUR: Vasireddy Venkatadri Institute of Technology (VVIT) inaugurated a week-long national level Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Embedded Systems and IoT Applications in Allied Fields’, at VVIT, in collaboration with Electronics and ICT Academy, NIT Warangal, at Nambur in Guntur district on Wednesday. The FDP will continue till October 30.

VVIT chairman Vasireddy Vidya Sagar said that the FDP will help faculty hone their skills and be confident and competent in the global market of core engineering, computer science and information technology domains. Dr. A Sami Reddy, alumni of NIT, stressed the need for embracing new technologies. He also said faculty must learn advanced technologies to enhance their research skills. He advised the students to focus on soft computing. Dr. T Kishore Kumar, Associate Professor & HOD, ECE, NIT, said that embedded systems and IoT would play a major role in various fields.
