CSIR UGC NET 2017 June exam results delayed

Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) examination unit has postponed the results of the UGC JRF/NET 2017. The examination was held on June 18, 2017. As per a note posted on the official website of the page, the results have been delayed “because of legal issues involved in the wake of the
Judgement of Hon’ble High court of Punjab and Haryana”

CSIR has not issued a result declaration date yet but said they’ll announce it “in the due course of time.”

The Council conducts UGC NET JRF exam twice in a year. The award of Junior Research Fellowship (NET) depends on finding the vacant position in a university or a national laboratory or an institution of higher learning and research.

As per reports, a petition was filed in the court challenging the answer keys of the June exam. Till the matter gets resolved, the exam is withheld.

The online applications for CSIR UGC NET June 2017 were filled from February 8 to March 24. The exam was conducted in morning and afternoon shift. CSIR is expected to release merit list and cut-off on the same day. Two merit lists will be prepared — one for JRF and one for lectureship.
