Braid chopping rumours in Kashmir seems to be losing its control over time. It is believed to be spread by few miscreants who were trying to create an atmosphere of fear in the valley. Calling it a mere rumour game, Kashmiri women have strongly condemned braid chopping incidents. Though there were few cases came in limelight, soon it was found they were just spread to disrupt peace in the valley by some anti-national and anti-social elements.
