Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said a large number of job opportunities would be created following the setting up of Adani Group's thermal power plant in Godda district.
Das, during a meeting with Adani Enterprises Managing Director Rajesh Adani, said the company could begin training people as per its requirement, which will make available trained staff when the 1,600 MW super critical thermal power plant is commissioned.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina would be invited for the foundation laying ceremony, Das said.
In February this year, Rajesh Adani had said Adani Enterprises will invest about Rs 20,000 crore in various sectors in Jharkhand.
