The recently introduced Goods and Service Tax has quite literally taken the ‘fat’ out of the big fat Indian weddings. According to Assocham, GST is likely to impact this year’s wedding season by 10-15 per cent with hall booking, tent booking, shopping, food services and photography getting costlier.
