The construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is most likely to begin before December 6 2018.

Senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader and member of the Ram Janambhoomi Trust Ram Bilas Vedanti said the NDA government at the Centre would facilitate the temple construction through a Parliamentary legislation if the court's decision is not favourable.
Vedanti, a former BJP MP, also said many in the Muslim community support the temple construction. "The Shia Waqf Board has already supported building the Ram Temple," he also said.
He said that the BJP's strength in Rajya Sabha will go up after a string of Assembly polls, hinting that the temple legislation will have a smooth passage in the Upper House.
