VISHAKAPATNAM: Two women were allegedly assaulted at Butchayyapeta in Vishakapatnam district on Tuesday after they and one other woman had a heated dispute with a realtor over their property.

The incident came to light on Wednesday after local media reports surfaced.

Superintendent of police (Visakhapatnam-Rural) Rahul Dev Sharma, said that a team of police has been sent to the spot. However, they are yet to receive a complaint from the victims.

"It seems to be a land grabbing or a trespass case. We have to ascertain facts whether they were really assaulted. A complaint is yet to be received. Strict action will be taken against the culprits", he said.
