Veere Di Wedding first look poster: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor are having a blast. But why is Swara Bhaskar upset?

On Tuesday, the teaser poster of Veere Di Wedding starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania left all waiting for the first look of the ladies in the movie with bated breath. But as we lay our hands on the first look poster of the movie which has been shared by Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, we must say the wait was worth it.

In the poster, Kareena, Sonam and Shikha look quirky and are dancing with gusto but we wonder why Swara has a smirk on her face. Is she not happy with the wedding or does she have a problem with the loud and over the top excitement of her girl gang? Well, we have to wait for the ‘Mahurat’ of the wedding which is May 18, 2018, to find out as the movie releases on this date next year. Yes, along with the poster, the makers of the movie have also revealed the release date of this chick flick.

What has caught our attention in the poster is the ‘dance till you drop’ attitude of Sonam, Shilpa and Kareena. And after looking at them we are reminded of a perfect Punjabi wedding which is nothing less than a roller coaster. Also, unlike the teaser poster where all the four girls were decked up in their traditional lehengas, here they have dropped their coyness to get into Sherwanis.

The film, produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures is a special one for Kareena as this would bring back the new mommy on the silver screen after delivering her handsome baby boy, Taimur Ali Khan. In the movie, Kareena plays a possessive friend. Veere Di Wedding is the story of four girls who attend Kareena’s wedding and all the fun that it involves. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the movie showcases women and their emotions.

While the story line has left all excited, the team of the movie has been adding more to it by sharing timely updates from the sets of the movie.
