There will be no entry for devotees to the Sri Manjunatha temple in Dharmasthala for 24 hours from 2 p.m. on October 28.
This is in view of the security arrangements as Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the temple at 11 a.m. on October 29, a release said on Wednesday. Entry for devotees has been barred till 2 p.m. on October 29. The temple administration has requested devotees to cooperate. The Prime Minister will arrive at the Mangaluru International Airport at 10.15 a.m. on Sunday. He will reach Dharmasthala by a helicopter at 10.50 a.m. After visiting the temple, Mr. Modi will participate in a function organised by Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, a non-governmental organisation, at Ratnavarma Heggade stadium in Ujire.
Security arrangements
Alok Mohan, Additional Director-General of Police (Law and Order) visited Dharmasthala on Wednesday to review security arrangements.
