A hat-trick by Rhian Brewster helped England storm into the final of the Under-17 World Cup, beating Brazil 3-1 in Kolkata.
Brewster opened England’s account in the 11th minute, with a right-footed shot to the centre of the goal. Brazil equalised ten minutes later, with Wesley finding the net in the bottom left corner.
It was to be Brazil’s only success as Brewster scored again in the 40th minute and later in the 78th minute, this time assisted by Emile Smith-Rowe. It was Brewster’s second consecutive hat-trick, following his feat in the quarter-final against USA.
England will meet either Spain or Mali in the final on Saturday.
