Making a rare start as a point guard in the Cleveland Cavaliers revamped line-up, LeBron James scored 34 points and made 13 assists as they won the game 119-112 against Chicago Bulls – their third victory in this season.

Icardi’s brace takes Inter top

Mauro Icardi scored on either side of the half-time after Milan Skriniar opened the scoring for Inter Milan.

Despite going 3-0 up in the 54th minute, Inter had to play a tense final few minutes as Sampdoria scored twice through Dawid Kownacki and Fabio Quagliarella.

The win took Inter top of the table for the moment, with 26 points after 10 matches this season.

Federer beats Tiafoe at Basel

Playing at his home-town Basel event, Roger Federer continued with his ominous form as he defeated Frances Tiafoe 6-1 6-3 in the first round.
