Couple forces girl into flesh trade, held

KANPUR: A couple was arrested for allegedly kidnapping a minor Dalit girl about a month ago and pushing her into flesh trade.
The incident came to light on Monday after the girl escaped from the captivity of the couple and reached her home and narrated her ordeal to her parents, who approached Chakeri police.
The police said that during questioning, the couple said that they had kidnapped the girl from Chakeri on September 16. They took the girl to Agra and then to Delhi and pushed her into flesh trade.
The minor Dalit girl has lodged an FIR stating that on September 16, Vinod and his wife Sarita of Chakeri, came to her house and took her on the pretext of eating `paanipoori' and showing their newly constructed house."She alleged that the couple had mixed sedatives in edibles. When she became unconscious, they took her to Agra and later to Delhi. In Agra as well as in Delhi, the couple assaulted her and forced her into flesh trade. The girl alleged that she was held captive in hotel rooms in Agra and Delhi where unidentified men repeatedly raped her," the SHO Chakeri said.
The girl managed to escape from their captivity when they brought her to the city on October 18.
She reached her home and narrated her ordeal to her parents, who approached police on Monday.
She has been sent for medical examination. An FIR was registered against the couple on Monday under sections 376328342506 of IPC besides POCSO Act, Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act and SCST Act.The accused have been arrested.
