iPhone X in India: Pre-orders begin on Oct 27, to be available in stores from Nov 3

Apple's iPhone X will be available for pre-order globally, including in India, starting October 27.

The flagship phone will be available for purchase in 55 countries and in the Apple Stores starting a week later, on November 3.

The 64 GB variant of iPhone X has been priced at Rs 89,000 in India while the 256 GB variant will be priced at a little more than Rs 1 lakh, media reports suggest.

The California-headquartered company has also announced that the new accessories including the leather and silicone case for iPhone X will be available for Rs 3,500 each. The Lightning Docks will be available for a price of Rs 4,700.

Apple had on September 13 launched the much awaited phone which has a full-screen display. The tech giant had also launched iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus at the event.

The iPhone X, introduced to mark 10 years of the revolutionary device, is Apple's first smartphone to feature an edge-to-edge 5.8-inch Super Retina Display-OLED panel with 2436 x 1125 pixel resolution.

The smartphone is powered by the 64-bit A11 Bionic chip.

The phone marks the end of the much-loved home-screen-button and has also ditched fingerprint scanner for facial recognition feature called Face ID.
