2 more students end life in erstwhile M’nagar dist

MAHBUBNAGAR : The sudden spike in students committing suicide in the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district continues unabated, as two more students ended their life on Monday. Totally, as many as six students have ended their life in October.In the first incident, an intermediate first year student Kaveri (18) allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her house in Wanaparthy district. Police have registered a case but are yet to ascertain cause of death. In the second incident, a degree final year student Pavan (19) allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his house in Mahbubnagar district. 

According to police, Pavan took the extreme step after his parents left for agricultural work. Pavan’s parents realised that he was disturbed and called up their relatives to check on him and left. A little later, when their relatives visited the house, they found Pavan hanging from the ceiling. Local police have booked a case and are investigating.
