Chandrapur: A 10-year-old girl was injured in a leopard attack, while a bunch of other children had close a shave at Badkini village in Brahmapuri tehsil in the early hours on Tuesday.
Akshara Shende, who was injured in the attack, has been admitted to the rural hospital at Armori in Gadchiroli district.
On Tuesday, while the kids were running along Badkini-Chichgaon road, the leopard pounced on Akshara. The other kids stopped and tried to scare the beast away. Akshara escaped with an injury on her right leg as the leopard fled away.
