The Airports Authority of India (AAI) today sought 28 acres of land from the district administration to expand the local airport.
AAI Chairman Guruprasad Mohapatra held a meeting with the officials of district administration, the Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC) and the Indore Development Authority (IDA) in this regard.
"The authorities were positive about our demand. We have a plan to develop hotel and other facilities on the 28 acres which we have sought," Mohapatra told reporters after the meeting.
