Mapusa police books unknown person in Deepak Sharma murder case

MAPUSA: Mapusa police have registered a murder case against the unknown accused for murdering Deepak Sharma an Assam native.
According to Mapusa police the dead body of Deepak Sharma was found at the under construction new KTC bus stand in Mapusa on Monday.
Mapusa police had registered the case of unnatural death and had sent the dead body for post mortem analysis to Goa medical college and hospital at Bambolim the reports of which revealed that the death was due to strangulation.
On the complaint of Anupam Sharma, brother of the deceased, Mapusa police have registered a murder case under section 302 of IPC. Sources said that the deceased was the daily wage worker doing the loading and unloading job at Mapusa. Mapusa PI Tushar Lotlikar is further investigating the case.
