The second edition of TGV Bharath Badminton League would start on January 20, said chairman T.G.V. Bharath. At the end of the governing council meeting of badminton league held at Guntur Club here on Tuesday, Mr. Bharath said that more number of teams have confirmed their participation.
The auction money was also increased from ₹7.50 lakh to ₹16 lakh and prize money was also increased to ₹10 lakh. Auctions would be held either in Guntur or in Kurnool and 70 players would be bid in the auctions. The teams are Rayalaseema Warriors, Vizag Smashers, Amaravathi Acers, Godavari Guns and Prakasam Bulls. New teams who would be taking part this year are, Simhapuri Lions, Guntur Club and Vizag Steel.
