Veteran Thumri singer Girija Devi dies in Kolkata at 88

Eminent classical singer and Padma Vibhushan awardee Girija Devi died at a city hospital in Kolkata tonight following a cardiac arrest, hospital sources said.
She was 88 and is survived by a daughter.
