University of Hyderabad forms panel to look into V-P controversy

HYDERABAD: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) administration on Monday constituted a committee to look into the attendance issue of the vice presidential candidate who emerged victorious in the recently conducted students’ union elections. His result was withheld after the issue was raised by other student groups.

The varsity administration has sought a report and recommendations within 10 days. The four-member committee will look into the maintenance of attendance in School of Medical Sciences and investigation into how three different attendance certificates were issued for the same student. The Students Union Elections was conducted on September 21 and the results were declared the following day.
