Kerala to take on Rajasthan in Ranji trophy tournament on Tuesday

St Xavier’s college ground at Thumba

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala will face Rajasthan in Ranji trophy cricket tournament to be held at St Xavier’s college ground at Thumba on Tuesday. The match starts at 9 am and it will go on till October 27. Entry is free.

All Group B matches will be held at the college ground since the Greenfield stadium is getting ready for the T20 match between India and New Zealand which will be on November 7.

The state team came second with six points in Group B with a win and a loss. It won in the first match against Jharkhand but lost to Gujarat. Rajasthan has four points after two matches ended in draws. St Xavier’s college ground will be the venue for more matches that Kerala plays. Kerala-Jammu Kashmir match has been shifted to the ground here on November 1. Match with Sourashtra will also be played here on November 17.
