The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) today arrested an assistant engineer working with the Singareni Collieries Company Limited in Bhadradri Kothagudem district of Telangana for allegedly accepting Rs 1 lakh bribe.
M Raja Shekhar, was caught by the ACB sleuths from a park in Manugur of the district while he was allegedly accepting the bribe amount of Rs 1 lakh from a complainant for doing an official favour, an ACB release said here.
The bribe amount was recovered from the assistant engineer and he is being arrested, it said, adding, the case is under investigation.
