A massive fire broke out at a hosiery unit in Punjab's Ludhiana on Tuesday morning. No casualties were reported. Goods worth lakhs of rupees were completely destroyed in the fire.

Twelve fire brigades were present at the spot. Police sources said that the fire was so intense that a portion of the building collapsed.

Shops on fire
Earlier today, a major fire broke out at Delhi's Kamla Nagar market in which over a 100 shops were gutted. The incident happened at around 1:00 am when the fire department got a call regarding the fire at the Cooler Market area.
At least nine fire tenders were rushyed to the spot to douse the flames. The extent of damage due to the fire is yer to be ascertained. No casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
