Laura Simpson, the lady who was in the car when drunk former England football captain, Wayne Rooney, was arrested last month, has clarified her stand through social media.

Simpson, 29, had earlier said that she kissed and hugged Rooney and would have slept with him had he not been arrested that night, while his pregnant wife Coleen was away holidaying in Majorca.

However, she later denied those claims in a TV interview, and has now gone on to justify her actions on Twitter. "If 2 people have sex and one of said people is in a relationship, the single person is not to blame or has no loyalties to the other person's partner," said Simpson in a veiled reference to herself, Rooney and his wife Coleen.

"The other person has their own mind and unless it's sexual assault, the other person made their own bed, lie in it. The partner that blames the other person is delusional," added Simpson.
