firangi, firangi trailer, kapil sharma, kapil sharma firangi, firangi plot, firangi wikipedia Kapil Sharma brings a different avatar of him on-screen with his film, Firangi.

What happens when Kapil Sharma comes on screen? Well, you would expect a lot of laughter for sure. But here’s a catch. In his upcoming film Firangi’s newly launched trailer, we witness a different side of Kapil. We see him in love and fighting for love. Just like a true blue Bollywood hero, he is wooing his lady love, presenting an emotional side to him as well. Of course there are portions of humour and innocence which he brings onscreen but over all the trailer is a pleasing watch and we are happy to see his new avatar.

Kapil plays the character of Magga. The trailer begins with Kapil narrating a story to a child as he takes us back in time when India was under the rule of British and the struggle for freedom was gaining momentum, when Indians were getting united under one mission – to gain independence. But looks like only one person had a different thought – Magga aka Kapil. Magga, who serves the British, believes they are not bad people. In fact, it is his job that brings humour in the first half of the trailer. The man who was good for nothing, suddenly turns into the most highly placed man among the white people because of his ability to treat their back pain in the traditional manner of kicking them. Yes, while the entire country was looking for ways to fight the British, Kapil kept them at the end of his kick! But soon, he falls in love and that’s when the story takes a twist.

Kapil is proving his mettle as an actor in the trailer, which makes us curious about the film. While his debut film Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon was an out-and-out comedy, this one has elements of emotions and drama too. The trailer can be touted as a perfect teaser for fans who have been missing the actor-comedian after his show, The Kapil Sharma Show went off air on television. This film also marks Kapil’s venture into film production.

The film will be releasing in cinemas on the 24th of November, 2017.
