COIMBATORE: Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) today sought to take action against BJP Tamil Nadu president Tamilisai Soundararajan for reportedly making derogatory remarks against the party president, Thol Thirumavalvan.

Party workers led by Susi Kalairasan, submitted a memorandum to the City Police Commissioner A Amalraj and sought to take action against Tamilisai for her remarks while talking to reporters yesterday, over the issue of Mersal film controversy.

Tamilisai has alleged that Thirumavalvan has the habit of usurping land, including his party headquarters, which is baseless, the workers said.

They also warned of serious agitation if she failed to apologise and withdraw the remarks, police said.
