HC judge recuses from hearing advocate's advance bail plea

A High judge today withdrew from hearing an anticipatory bail plea of Advocate C P Udayabhanu, accused in the of a real estate dealer.

Justice P Ubaid, while recusing himself from hearing the matter, made it clear that the lawyer cannot be arrested till the matter is heard by another bench.


Earlier, the had directed the police to produce all material collected by them against the lawyer in connection with the killing of 46-year-old real estate dealer Rajeev.
