The Air Quality Index in Delhi's RK Puram area was marked at 239, in it was marked at 251 (Very unhealthy) and Anand Vihar was marked at 569 (Hazardous).

Post Diwali celebrations, the capital woke up to an AQI of above 400 which is considered to be in the 'severe' category.
