Take note of traffic changes in Vadapalani

CHENNAI: The city police have made changes in the flow of vehicles from Vadapalani junction from Saturday. Vehicles coming from Kodambakkam - Arcot Road intending to go to Porur or Koyambedu will not be allowed to go straight or right at Vadapalani junction. They will have to take a compulsory left and take U-turn at the next signal and continue towards their destination.

However, vehicles coming from Ashok Pillar towards Kodambakkam via service road will be allowed to take right at Vadapalani junction.

Vehicles coming from Virugambakkam intending to go to Kodambakkam, Ashok Nagar and Koyambedu will be allowed to take left, go straight and also take right to go to their destinations.
Vehicles coming from Forum Vijaya Mall intending to go to Valasarawakkam will take left at Forum Mall before taking a U-turn at the next signal and head to Valasarawakkam.

Vehicles coming from Nerkundram Pathai service road towards Ashok Pillar at 100 Feet Road will not be allowed to take right or go straight and will have to take compulsory left at Vadapalani junction and go towards Kodambakkam, Duraisamy Salai en route to their destination.

Vehicles coming from Nerkundram Pathai service road intending to go to Forum Vijaya Mall, SIMS Hospital, Nerkundram Pathai and Koyambedu can take U-turn at the next signal and reach their destination.
