A total of 52 students pursuing apparel fashion design course at NIFT-TEA College of Knitwear Fashion have come up with a gigantic art installation of Indian map to highlight the pluralistic art and craft forms existing in the country. It took 12 days for the students to finish the 29 feet X 29 feet installation.

According to the students, the main objective of the creation is to spread awareness on craftsmanship of the artisans.

An array of works like Warli tribal art which had its origin from among adivasis in Maharashtra, mural paintings of Kerala that portray mythology and legends, Tanjore paintings of Tamil Nadu and Chikankari embroidery works from Uttar Pradesh were incorporated in the Indian map.
