India will be eyeing their third ever gold medal in Asia Cup Hockey as they play Malaysia in the final of the Asia Cup 2017 in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Ocotber 22, 2017 (Sunday). India thrashed Pakistan 4-0 in the last game of the Super-4 to book a spot in the final of Asia Cup. India last won a gold medal in Asia Cup back in 2007. Malaysia drew 1-1 with South Korea in the other Super-4 game and made sure they reach the final of the Asia Cup. India and Malaysia met earlier in the tournament and India beat Malaysia 6-2. They have a chance to beat them again and even better their performance from the previous game when the two teams meet in the final on Sunday.
