Militants pelt grenade at NC leader's residence in Pulwama, CRPF jawan hurt

This was the third grenade attack targeting politicians in south Kashmir in the last three days

Militants today hurled a at the residence of a Conference (NC) leader in the Tral area of district in Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in injuries to a jawan, the police said.

The militants lobbed the at the residence of Mohammad Ashraf Bhat, son of former NC MLA Mohammad Subhan Bhat, in Tral town,a police official said.


He added that a jawan was injured in the attack.

This was the third attack targeting politicians in south Kashmir in the last three days.

Earlier, militants had hurled grenades at the houses of ruling PDP MLAs at Real and Zainapora in Shopian district.
