28-yr-old man from Kurali dies after container falls over truck in Canada town

A 28-year-old man who was staying in USA died after a container allegedly fell on the truck in which he was present. The man, identified as Harinderjeet Singh, was a truck driver and the incident happened in Canada’s Winnipeg town. He was s resident of Wadali village near Kurali.

According to family members of the victim, Harinderjeet was was staying in USA and he went to deliver some goods in his truck in Winnipeg. “When a crane was unloading the goods, the chain broke down and a container fell on the truck. He received injuries on his head and died on the spot,” said a family member.

Harinderjeet was the eldest of his four siblings and he was about to get engaged in January next year. His father Najar Singh who is a SDO in PWD said that they spoke to Harinderjeet on Diwali and he was very happy. The father added he would retire in January next year and Harinderjeet was to visit the family and they were planning to organise his ring ceremony.
