HYDERABAD: Information technology (IT) services firm Bodhtree Consulting is gearing up to launch operations in Andhra Pradesh. The company plans to set up an IT facility at Fintech Valley in Visakhapatnam. Representatives of Bodhtree Consulting met AP IT Minister Nara Lokesh on Friday and agreed to sign an MoU in this regard.

“We’ll invest up to Rs 50 crore in the next five years on this new facility. While it will create 200 new jobs initially, about 1,000 new jobs will be added over the next two to three years,” said L N Rama Krishna, managing director, Bodhtree Consulting.

Accoding to Krishna, the new facility will cater to the state’s GST needs. “This centre will act as the central back-office for all GST businesses of Bodhtree, besides developing other software products or services.”

He said the idea is to build the facility as the largest operating centre for all financial technologies-related solutions. “We are expecting revenues of Rs 400 crore over the next five years from this centre,” said Krishna.

Bodhtree Consulting is a BSE-listed IT services provider, which offers web and mobile solutions, analytics and big data, enterprise and cloud services to both private and government agencies.
