Senior RSS pracharak Thakur Sankata Prasad Singh dies at 94

Senior pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and former organisational secretary of the Bhartiya Kisan Sangh Thakur Sankata Prasad Singh died here after a prolonged illness.

Singh (94) had been keeping unwell for quite some time and passed away last night, Awadh prant of the said in a statement here. He was cremated today.

Condoling his death, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, "Thakur Sankata Prasad Singh was always ready for social work."

"He closely worked with Bharatiya Kisan Sangh for the interest of farmers. His contribution to the organisation will always be remembered," Adityanath said.
