THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Do you have a very busy schedule that stops you from dropping by a service centre, wait for hours or perhaps leave your phone there for a couple of days? Worry not as PhonePerfect, an online service recently launched in the city, offers the most convenient and safest option to repair your phones. All you need is to log on to their page, fill in the details and send a request. The technicians from PhonePerfect will be at your doorstep shortly and repair your phone in front of you. “It’s an on-the-spot, on-demand service where you can get your phone repaired at your office or home. I think we are the first ones to provide such a service in Kerala,” says Stafan Alex, the founder of PhonePerfect.

So you don’t have to travel or spend time and energy on servicing your phone, but the USP of PhonePerfect is not that. With a range of software to retrieve private data from your gadget, it’s often a risky affair to leave your phone with a technician. “Mobile data security  is an important concern for many users. The highlight of our service is the transparency involved.

Our technicians service it in front of you within minimum time,” he says. Stafan adds that he wanted something more than the element of convenience when he started PhonePerfect. “Earlier I tried a service where we used to pick the phone from customers and deliver it repaired. Since we also depended on service centres and local technicians we couldn’t guarantee the safety part. Now we have a team  who will come to your place with their tools and you can watch the process,” he says.

The technical team headed by his partner Zakir Hussain is the strength of PhonePerfect, adds Stefan. “He has been in this field for the last 15 years and can handle almost all glitches,” he says. Once the technician arrives, he will mostly repair your phone in a time span of 20 to 30 minutes. “There are also rare cases where it takes long if the problem is complicated,” he adds.

PhonePerfect has two stations in the city, one in Attakulangara and the other near Infosys, where customers can come over and repair their phone. “There are some emergency situations and then there are customers who prefer to come to our place. Earlier we used to take only online requests, but then we felt it wasn’t a customer-friendly stand. So if you are on the road and your phone suddenly stops, you can call and come straight to our service station,” he says. PhonePerfect, which was launched a couple of months ago, now gets 10 to 15 inquiries a day. “We usually service around seven phones a day and the response so far has been very encouraging,” he adds.

It’s safe and perfect
