Norristown Fire Department honors bravery and compassion

Kelly Espinoza, a teacher at the Musselman Elementary School, accepts an award from Norristown Fire Chief Thomas O’Donnell, for her efforts, and the efforts of her fellow teachers, in raising money to purchase smoke detectors for the community following the deaths of two children from a fire on DeKalb Street. In addition, the teachers will be hosting a fire prevention night at the school to better educate families in fire safety.
