NEW DELHI: Seems troubles for dentist couple Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar are far from over. Days after their acquittal in the double murder case of their daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj, the latter's family said that they might move the Supreme Court.

The Allahabad high court had acquitted the Talwar couple last week, bringing to an end their 4-year imprisonment.

And now, Hemraj's family wants to appeal against the verdict in the SC.

"We are watching the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) right now. If they do not move SC as soon as possible, we will then knock the doors of the apex court," ANI quoted Naresh Yadav, lawyer of Hemraj's family, as saying.

The family is looking for compensation from the Talwars since Hemraj was not paid for three months.

The Allahabad HC had overruled the trial court judgement in the twin muder case and acquitted Nupur and Rajesh Talwar on October 12, 2017.

Fourteen-year-old Aarushi was found dead at her Noida residence in May 2008. Then needle of suspicion fell on Hemraj, but his body was recovered from the terrace two days later.
