WPP Appoints CVL Srinivas As Country Manager, India
The responsibility has come as an additional charge along with his role as CEO, South Asia, GroupM

CVL Srinivas has been appointed country manager for WPP in India. He has taken over the new role from Ranjan Kapur who will continue as Chairman of WPP India.
"We want to simplify the process for clients. What we sense is that the regional management for clients has become less significant and global and country management is becoming more significant. As you know, “horizontality” is our number one strategic objective and Srini’s additional role in India will be to ensure that we work together as effectively as possible to provide clients with effective and efficient solutions. I hope you will give him every support.” said Sir Martin Sorrell, CEO, WPP.
The responsibility has come as an additional charge along with his role as CEO, South Asia, GroupM.
"I am delighted to announce that CVL Srinivas will be taking over the WPP India Country Manager position from Ranjan Kapur, in addition to his responsibilities as head of GroupM in India. Ranjan will continue as Chairman of WPP India, helping Srini and focusing on his school's and foundation's initiatives, which have been extremely successful and were featured at our WPP Board Dinner last night in Delhi," he further added.
