The Bigg Boss 10 contestant alleges she suffered 'mental and financial torture' at the hands of her mother-in-law and husband and accuses the cricketer of being a mere bystander. The case was first filed in August where she had made several allegations on the family. Soon after, she was seen as a participant on the reality show.

Although Sharma has maintained silence on the matter until now and will only speak once the hearing takes place on 21 October, her lawyer Swati Singh Malik confirmed the developments. She says Yuvraj can be held accountable for the pain that was caused to her client as he never intervened and remained silent throughout.

During her Bigg Boss stint, Sharma had revealed that her marriage had lasted only four months after which she walked out of her husband's home. The couple had filed for divorce in 2015.
