| Airports Council International (ACI) is pleased to announce that Brussels Airport Company will host next year's ACI EUROPE/World Annual General Assembly, Conference and Exhibition, to be held from 18–20 June 2018. A handover ceremony took place today in Mauritius, at the 27th ACI Africa/World Annual General Assembly, Conference and Exhibition. Romesh Bhoyroo, Chief Executive Officer, Airports of Mauritius, officially passed hosting duties for next year's conference to Arnaud Feist, Chief Executive Office, Brussels Airport Company.
"Brussels Airport is proud to welcome in 2018 the ACI EUROPE/World Annual General Assembly, Conference and Exhibition at the heart of the European capital," said Feist. "Brussels is known around the globe as the Capital of Europe and for being home to the European institutions, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and so many international organizations, companies and non-governmental organizations. The event will be a unique opportunity for the aviation industry to share experiences, to develop networks and to expand business. It is also a great honour for our country to host this congress with its 1,000 plus participants who will experience the famous Belgian hospitality and our rich cultural and artistic diversity."

It was also announced at the handover ceremony that the 2018 ACI Africa Regional General Assembly, Conference and Exhibition will be held in Lagos with The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) as host.
