Sri Lanka’s losing streak in ODIs continued and the number changed to ten after Pakistan delivered a brutal 7 wicket victory in Abu Dhabi. The islanders looked steady at one point before quick loss of wickets and resultant five wickets for Hasan Ali had them dismissed for a meagre 208 runs. That was never going to be enough to bother Pakistan and soon it showed. Even as Sri Lanka went about hoping to cause Pakistan trouble, they failed in doing so with debutant Imam-ul-Haq scoring his maiden ODI century to justify uncle Inzamam-ul-Haq’s faith in him to be selected for the series. With the win, Pakistan are 3-0 up in the series with the fourth and fifth ODI becoming sheer formality.
