NEW DELHI: Over 20 stocks including Global Education, Dena Bank, Alps Industries, TV Vision, Sri Adhikari, Khaitan Elect, JMT Auto, Shriram EPC, Vesuvius India, United Bank and JITF Infralogistics touched their new 52-week lows in Wednesday's trade.

On the other hand, Mas Financial Services, Nucleus Soft, Hitachi Home, Financial Tech, Maan Aluminium, SAL Steel Ltd, IFB Industries, Readymade Steel, Excel Realty, Shree Pushkar Chemicals & Fertilisers, DCW Ltd, Genus Paper & Boards stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.

Equity benchmarks kicked off Wednesday's session on a negative note, tracking weak Asian cues. Bank and pharma stocks were the top losers.

The Nifty50 index was trading 32 points lower at 10,203, while the 30-share Sensex was 90 points down at 32,519 around 10.10 am (IST).

Reliance Industries (up 1.71 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 1.25 per cent), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (up 1.23 per cent), Power Grid Corporation (up 1.10 per cent), Wipro (up 1.09 per cent) and Indiabulls Housing Finance (up 1.05 per cent) were the top gainers in the Nifty50 index.

However, Axis Bank (down 6.85 per cent), Bharti Infratel (down 3.13 per cent), ICICI Bank (down 2.88 per cent), Cipla (down 2.41 per cent), YES Bank (down 2.29 per cent), Zee Entertainment (down 2.12 per cent), State Bank of India (down 2.07 per cent), Tech Mahindra (down 1.78 per cent), Bharti Airtel (down 1.28 per cent) and Asian Paints (down 1.22 per cent) were the top losers.

On the NSE, 765 stocks were advancing, compared with 781 stocks declining and 422 stocks remaining unchanged.
