A resident of south-west Delhi’s Dwarka has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife on Sunday, the police said on Tuesday. The accused strangulated his wife to death because he suspected her of having an extramarital affair.
Son questioned
According to the police, a quarrel broke out between Shiv Balak Shah and his wife on Saturday night and he was seen leaving the house early on Sunday. When the couple’s 4-year-old son was questioned, he said the father, who was absconding, had killed his mother.
Teams were formed to nab the accused who was finally apprehended from Amberhai village.
