YSR Congress MP Butta Renuka joins Telugu Desam Party

Butta Renuka joined TDP on Tuesday (ANI)
VIJAYAWADA: In yet another defection from the YSRC, Kurnool MP Butta Renuka along with her followers joined TDP informally in the presence of the chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu at his residence in Undavalli on Tuesday morning.
Renuka is the second MP from Kurnool to have joined the TDP. Earlier, Nandyal MP SPY Reddy had left the YSRC for TDP. The Opposition is now two short of its original eight MPs. In fact, after getting elected as MP on a YSRC party ticket in 2014, Renuka, a businesswoman and first time MP tried to switch over loyalties, but had decided to not go through with it at the last moment.
